yeah. anyway

( post-april wishlist )
specific desires: modretro x koss porta pro in volt, in the grid notebook, seche vite fast dry top coat, edith edwardian boots, chanel le vernis ballerina, dove pink beauty bar, steel tiffin stainless steel lunch box large

undiscovered desires: lace cami undershirts, shoe organizer, vacuum cleaner, step-activation stainless steel trash can, wall rack fixture, double-sided wall-mount sticky-tabs, driving gloves, rings, genuine leather belts in dark brown + black that fit, patterned thick fabric headbands, spat style heels, card wallet, power bank, binders and folders that don't get damaged easily, oven mitts, velvet exterior jewelry box, dishwashing gloves, desk

desires of the mouth: i still want kbbq so bad it's actually not funny anymore... but who has the money? you would think that with recent family reunion and everything i would have eaten well but i was born in one of those rare families where no one really cooks well ... myself included ... but i really~~~ want kbbq...

desires that must pass: i really want a file cabinet LOL but where would i store one? i don't think i would even have enough to warrant the kind that i want (one of the tall filing cabinets) but i think about it often nowadays...

on last month's desires: i bought the floral parchment journal ... and i heard that the dr. g red blemish soothing cream isn't actually good for redness, so i'm no longer interested in it ... and my desire for the nyota blindbox and the guerlain lipstick has gone down. but everything else is basically the same

( vague discussion )
recently i've been using the roundlab moisturizer and unfortunately it's pretty good. i say unfortunately because it's also pretty expensive... i think the small size (discounted) for me was $22 or some such? which is a lot considering that's like, not a lot of product ... but i really like it; it has a thicker texture than the dynasty cream from boj and a thicker one than the cosrx propolis moisturizer, but it applies pretty thinly/evenly and is absorbed easily into my skin. i might buy again despite everything but considering the price increase that's sure to come i'm hemming and hawing my way through it...

recently i've reignited my interest in jewelry but instead of earrings it's rings and bracelets. in terms of fashion my taste is pretty much the same as last month ... i think i need to put down the more overt sailor themes though because i don't look good in them ... but i keep on getting attracted to them whenever i see them in person. hopefully i can finish the cleaning out i want to do by july so i can reconsider the way i've kept things and start to focus on home decoration more ... but these are the dreams of those who are not consistently employed ...

been falling behind a lot on writing recently which is bad because i litr just bought journals ... but it's fine everything's fine. need to get a lot of my backlog done and it will be done trust and believe ... my new pens are nice but i do think 0.5 is too thin now. pens should only be 0.7 and up imo ... i've also discovered an old trove of crayons from when i was in elementary school, and i've been thinking about trying to draw or something in order to use them up, it seems wasteful otherwise and they're too small/broken to gift to other people in good conscience

looking so greedy and materialistic right now it's crazy.

( post-february wishlist )
specific desires: vagabond lykke pumps, out from under bec bra, borgonha ring, kikkerland fish nail clippers, harajuku scrunchy socks, dr. g red blemish clear soothing cream, hoshibako works titania short coat, peter pauper press floral parchment journal

undiscovered desires: slouchy foldover boot, paper shredder, proper plasticky raincoat and boots, opaque wool floral-pattern tights, cloisonne cuff bracelets that fit, lace-trimmed navy corduroy mini-shorts, navy wool a-line pleated skirt, wide + shallow burgundy glass cup, upright leather makeup bag, headphones that i can wear over my earrings, paper shredder, gold-rimmed metal glasses, brown or tortoiseshell plastic-frame glasses in a shape that i like (more of a rounded square or squarer round?), embroidered-knot flats, cd player

desires of the mouth: i kid you not i've been thinking about going to kbbq since NOVEMBER and i still haven't gone. and when i say thinking i mean i wrote it down in my journal as an actual entry for several weeks on end. also really want funyuns but trying to improve diet and cut down on junk food and i already eat so many msgful rice crackers and such ...

desires that must pass: literally closing my eyes and ignoring these because they have no practical purpose or i don't have room/space/etc. for them but i want them anyway. i really want the nyota blindbox but specifically only the telephone figure, and i really insanely want a guerlain lipstick even though i know their quality has gone down and i don't even wearrrr lipstick. also looking at some motel dresses, but the price for the material is bonkers especially since i've heard their quality is not great...

( vague discussion )
really into polka dots recently, but i'm not really interested in most of the polka-dot pattern items i see floating around right now. might go look around again as the trend starts to pick up steam especially as we roll over into spring. really, really enjoying naval/sailor themes, leaning into (warm) yellows and off-whites over plain whites, and generally warmer tones overall; i don't think i'm cool-toned. kind of want a wide/baggy leg jean that has a relaxed silhouete without being absolutely massive, but finding pants is sooo unbelievably hard...

i've been meaning to pick up cuticle oil and nail polish since january, and i still haven't done it. also need to pick up a wooden wide-tooth comb for my hair and maybe a low-cost boar hair brush so i can reduce my frizz, but that's on the backburner for now; mostly i need to buy a new aha/bha exfoliant so i can get rid of the congestion in my skin since i've been noticing a lot of clogged pores

on the other hand, doing a lot of physical writing + journaling atm (working my way through the second out of three journals) especially to draft/write fic, and it's making me try to convince myself that i deserve peter pauper press journals: really into the floral parchment journal & the rubaiyat journal atm. as for pens ... i've been trying to not get into pens (esp since i think what i prefer isn't really popular: i hate the texture of fountain pens against paper and i love ballpoint + gel + don't like thin pens [anything under 0.5]) esp. since pens are so abundant and plentiful and it feels so wasteful to buy them when i have endless mountains of failed startup pens...
